And just like that, our last full day on the ship. So many things to try that haven't been done. Must they to get on the surfing machine, the waterslides and the Abyss ride too.  Awake at 630 and downstairs reserving chairs by 745 on deck 15 near the end of the waterslides.  I snuck over to the Solarium for a quick bite to eat and look around then back to our seats to 'guard them' from having our towels removed by the security who were trying to tighten up the leaving of towels on chairs but no bodies for large portions of the day. I managed to finish off the hook I was reading and was a bit disappointed with the ending but at least I managed to get a book done.  Krista and friends made an appearance at the crack of 10am and were disappointed with the chair location so we moved to the serenity of the Solarium. We did a bit of visiting and since I missed breakfast, I decided to venture off and do the remaining things from my bucket list that I hadn't gotten ar...

One of the worst nights of sleep I can never remember. Both Krista and I didn't get into bed until 2:30 and stayed awake till almost 4. Announcements began over this ship intercom at 6:00 a.m. We got up and showered, cleaned our room and met everyone for 8 a.m. breakfast. We went for our last buffet and grab some fruit and muffins to take with us off the ship. We took some last-minute photos in a few places and went to wait in the Royal Theatre for our departure time around 9:30 a.m. We headed down to deck 5 and multiple gangways before getting into the large staging building and tried to locate our luggage in area 53. We found Jacob's and my suitcases immediately but had to go to another area to try to find Nicholas and Krista. We found Nicholas' without tags and Krista's was gone. We searched for over an hour but to no avail. We filled out the missing bag report and hopefully it will be found soon and delivered to us in Calgary. We headed through security and...

5 am wake up? What the?  Well let's type up all of yesterday's events and read half a novel. Drift back to sleep for a bit and then up and out the door at 7. Off to the gym - nibble to eat and onto the elliptical for half an hour followed by a thousand crunches. Well that got everything moving. Literally.  Upstairs to check on Krista and she's still asleep. Back to the gym for some weights and tried out the treadmill. Not a lot of calories burned in 30 minutes but every runner I see is so fit that maybe I need to reconsider it. Will have to see if the trick knee can hang in there though the week. Put too much strain on it on Sunday doing squats.  Back up to the room and Krista in the shower. Guess it will only be another 30 minutes and we can go eat before I starve to death. We tried to go to the dining room but of course missed the 8-10am times. We headed to the Windjammer and had a quick but nice breakfast before heading into deck 15 poolside with our friends. ...

That was one nasty night night of no sleep. Up at 6 and alarm at 7. Room service didn't arrive because it wasn't ordered properly so a quick trip to the Windjammer to grab some muffins and fruit.  As the ship docked into port we discovered that Cozumel was one hour behind and our day resort wouldn't be open for another hour so we had a bit more time. A trip for morning coffees and more snacks before heading off the ship. Cozumel was a good sized port and there were 5 ships in port including 3 Carnivals and a Princess. Outmra towered over them all like the beast that is the Harmony of the Seas.  We found our way to the taxis and grabbed an 8 seater to Playa Mia for $34 one way but cheaper than the $10/pp offered by the ship. We headed down the highway at breakneck speed passing slow moving scooters by mere inches. Some things in Mexico never change.  We were the first to arrive at the resort and got our wristbands and headed on to the beach. We rented a cabana for t...
